Zion Chapel School Makeover

One of the oldest public schools in the Wiregrass has had a makeover.

With classes starting Wednesday in the Coffee County school district, there are several new facilities at Zion Chapel School.

There is a new gymnasium, weight room and additions to the elementary wing of the K-12th grade facility.

A public open-house was held to celebrate the improvements to the century-old campus.

The athletic additions were the result for district money and private donations.

The first day of classes begin Wednesday morning for all Coffee County schools.
