Lots of Florida drivers are noticing lower prices at the pump.
The gas tax holiday started yesterday and runs through the end of the month. Attorney General Charlie Crist says the 8-cent-per-gallon drop in price will save drivers an estimated 60 (m) million dollars.
Pedro Ynfante is a limo driver for Wyndham Orlando Resort. He says Tallahassee lawmakers might just be currying favor with the voters, but he'll gladly take the savings.
Ynfante said, quote: "For my own car, a few days ago it cost 25 dollars to fill up. Today, it's 3 dollars less. That makes me smile."
In the Miami area, at least two gas stations refused to pass on the savings to customers until they filled up their own tanks with the discounted fuel.
