ATLANTA (AP) - The Atlanta area is under a Code Red smog alert for unhealthy air for the third straight day.
The forecast calls for the temperatures to reach the upper 90s.
A few areas may see brief showers, but most of the area will remain dry.
The summer heat wave is expected to continue through most of the week.
People are advised to remain inside because of the unhealthy air, especially children and anyone with respiratory problems.
