Area Restaurant Robbed for Second time in Three Months

Police need help to locate two men they believe are responsible for robbing a Wiregrass fast-food restaurant.

The Hardee's on Highway 431 was robbed Tuesday night the second time in three months.

Business owners in the area were shocked to learn of the robbery and say they'll stay vigilant.

Police say the suspects got away on foot with $1,700 in cash in the latest Hardee's armed robbery

Headland Police Dept. Chief Mark Jones said, “It's definitely a cause for concern. Because like I said it's approximately 3 months prior to this we had a robbery at the same Hardee's, same description, and same method of the robbery.”

Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information about the crimes.

The number to call in Henry County is 585-5200.
