The Ozark Police Department had some success after an undercover drug operation over the past couple of weeks.
The 10-day operation covered locations all over the city.
Investigators were able to get information and the names of some local drug dealers.
Undercover agents took over to buy or sell crack cocaine and other drugs to them.
So far 16-people have been arrested.
Police say that one group, in particular that has helped this operation, is the public.
“The citizens help themselves, because they're calling us they're telling us where the people are at, what they're driving when they see deals going down they're calling their letting us know and we're taking that information and putting it in place,” said Deputy Chief Myron Williams of Ozark Police Department.
The manpower for this operation came from the Ozark Police Department's Narcotics Unit.
