Prescription Drug Ring Busted in North Alabama
Authorities in north Alabama have announced a huge seizure of illegal prescription drugs.

Authorities in north Alabama have announced a huge seizure of illegal prescription drugs.
They say it's the single largest seizure of these types of narcotics in the history of the Madison County Sheriff's Office.
The seizure happened early Friday in a storage unit.
Investigators found thousands of pills and about $9,000.
Investigators seized Xanax, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, cough syrup and found a revolver and about 15 pounds of marijuana.
They arrested 27-year-old Christy McBride, who owned the storage unit.
McBride is currently charged with trafficking marijuana, but faces other charges.
“The prescription drugs, specifically the Oxycotin, the Oxycodones, the Methodones, those are very prevalent and now to me, in my observation, are being abused more,” said Sgt. Michael Salomonsky with the Madison Police Department.
Investigators are still searching for about 20 other people involved in the prescription drug ring.
