Dale County authorities are asking residents to make sure they have the correct addresses posted.
Emergency 911 addresses were assigned a year ago and the emergency management director says there are still people who haven't changed their address.
This makes it difficult for emergency responders to find the location on time.
Some cities have specific requirements for address signs, but Dale County just wants to make sure the signs are visible and legible.
If you don't know your address, you can call your local post office.
