A Cottonwood man who pled guilty to vehicular manslaughter learned his fate.
39-year-old David Leroy Johnston of Cottonwood was sentenced to two-year probation.
6-years ago, police say Johnston ran a stop sign pulling his truck out in front of a car driven by 20-year-old Jennifer Dawn Gibson of Webb.
Gibson died later that morning.
Johnston pled guilty in the case back in May of this year.
He had been sentenced to one year in prison, but Judge Denny Holloway granted probation following a hearing Wednesday afternoon.
