A small Northwest Florida town is looking to get a big upgrade.
With a population of about 250, the Town of Noma sits along the Geneva-Holmes County line.
Recently, Mayor Robert Skipper says the town was able to use grant money to purchase land next to the city park.
He plans to use it to build a skate park and nature walking trail.
Mayor Skipper says there should also be money left over to buy additional playground equipment.
The park project has been an on-going effort over the last two years.
The initial grant from Tallahassee was more than $200,000.
