Bryant Case

That's at least while the public is in the courtroom.

Behind closed doors, the judge has scheduled arguments on whether cell phone text messages and crime victims' compensation records can be introduced as evidence.

Two other pretrial hearings have been set before jury selection begins. The trial of the Los Angeles Lakers' star will take place in Eagle, Colorado.

A key issue still to be decided is whether the judge will allow jurors to hear testimony about the accuser's sexual history.

Bryant has pleaded innocent to felony sexual assault. He maintains the young woman consented to a sexual encounter. She worked at a Vail-area resort.
