PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a Pensacola man died after opening a car door to spit.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Miguel Rogelio was a passenger in a car yesterday morning when he decided he needed to spit. The 37-year-old opened his door and leaned out. He then fell and hit his head on the pavement.
No charges have been filed and no further information has been released.
The driver, Desiree Jamar, told police she was traveling about 45 miles an hour at the time.
