Special needs children were greeted by Wal-Mart truck drivers today. The third annual event allows kids to ride in a big rig and interact with Wal-Mart truck drivers. Teachers say it's a way to get their mind off of everyday challenges.
"This is a day that they can forget about it all they have to do is look at the truck drivers, climb up in the big rigs and forget about their problems, none of the children are disabled today," said Elizabeth west, a teacher at Ashford elementary. Four teachers were recognized and made honorary drivers.
