Fans Walk Out on Ronstadt

Singer Linda Ronstadt says she'll continue praising director Michael Moore and his film "Fahrenheit 9/11" on stage despite an angry reaction at a Las Vegas concert.

Some audience members furious with her tribute to Moore stormed out of her show Saturday at the Aladdin hotel-casino. They tore down concert posters, and Ronstadt was escorted off the property.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times Ronstadt says "this is an election year" and she wants people to "get their head up out of their mashed potatoes and learn something about the issues and go and vote."

Ronstadt says her remarks about Moore were "modest." Furthermore, she says she didn't want to return to the Aladdin anyway.
