A mandatory ban on outside watering in Headland has been lifted, but consumption is still being limited.
A downed water pump knocked a major well in the city out of commission last month.
The equipment was replaced earlier this month and the system was tested to make sure everything was working properly.
Even though the well is back on line, Headland officials are still asking residents to conserve water.
Mayor Reuben Shelley says an odd-even watering plan is being implemented and will remain in effect until further notice.
Most other communities in the Wiregrass area use similar plans to conserve water for emergencies.
