Dothan Pavilion Experienced Substantial Growth

In the past two-years, Dothan has experienced substantial growth. More and more businesses are seeing the financial benefits of moving to the Circle City.

Wednesday, Dothan-area chamber of commerce officials announced Lowe's will be moving into the new Dothan Pavilion.

Also Logan’s Roadhouse Grill and Moe's Southwest Grill are scheduled to open in the same shopping center.

This growth is going to continue for several years to come.

Dothan Chamber of Commerce President Matt Parker said, “Dothan and the Wiregrass is on a good growth track. We're above the state and national averages and were seeing more diversity in businesses and in retail diversity.”

Logan's Roadhouse Grill will officially open to the public Monday July 30th.

1% increase that was forced on is appears to be a drop in the bucket for the greedy politicians! Dothan is not Montgomery, Birmingham or Atlanta. The pay is below national average so why compare its growth to such? We moved here to get on our feet 5 years ago and haven't been able to do so yet. We left Florida for this? Sure we had higher property taxes but Dothan, by far, is a costlier living area! BOO TO DOTHAN!!!!

Lowes moving is not a good ideal for those who lives on the south side of team. We already don't have much on the southside as it. Bad move

Oh yahoo.. more retail and resturants. I wonder if theyll pay over 45,000 a year.. Too bad the local wiregrass leaders refuse to recruit bigtime industry which the rest of the state has gotten. Retail and Restaurants are areas that come with OTHER growth in an economy.. NOT WHAT YOU BASE your economy on, unless your a tourist mecca.. something Dothan is NOT!
