Dothan Police Investigating Two Burglary and Robbery Attempt

Dothan Police need help in solving some Wednesday night crimes.

Wednesday night, the Dothan Police Department responded to the burglary of a pawn shop located at 1919 Montgomery Highway.

An unknown suspect was caught on video surveillance after he broke into the business.

Also Wednesday night, an unknown suspect shattered the front glass of a convenience store located at 1058 East Cottonwood Road.

The suspect then entered the store and was captured video taking tobacco products from the business.

But the crime didn't end; at 12:45 Thursday morning Dothan Police officers responded to the video warehouse located at 1207 Ross Clark Circle.

The suspects described as black males tried to enter the store after the doors had been locked for the evening.

When the suspect could not gain entry into the business one of the suspects fired a single round from a handgun into the store hitting a store employee that was behind the counter.

The employee was struck in the wrist and hip by the bullet.

Officers are currently looking for a red Acura or Saturn that may be connected with the crime.

No information has been released regarding if these crimes are related.

    what is this world come to. crime , crime etc,if we bring better job to this community or to the state this might cut down on the crime rate give these people something better to do with their lives
