Police Trying to identify Man Hit by Car

Florida authorities are still trying to identify a pedestrian who was killed by a car near Panama City early Wednesday morning.

The accident happened about 2 am on Highway 231 between Youngstown and Bayou George.

The Florida Highway Patrol says a man was standing in the highway when he was hit by a car.

The victim had no identification, but authorities are trying find out who he is by using some of his tattoos.

No one in the car was injured and no charges have been filed in connection with the mishap.
