The Enterprise High School teacher, who is credited with saving the lives of two of her students during the March first tornado, while she was 5-months pregnant, gave birth to a healthy baby this weekend.
Shannon Bridges and her husband Phillip have a baby boy, named John Edward.
He was born Saturday night, July 14th, and weighed in at 8-pounds, 1-ounce.
His birth comes after Shannon suffered several injuries during the tornado and spent 18-days in the hospital, three of those in intensive care.
