Actress to Donate $10k to Shannon Paulk Reward Fund

PRATTVILLE, Ala. (AP) - The unsolved case of a slain Prattville girl has caught the attention of actress Pauley Perette of the CBS drama "NCIS." She plans to donate $10,000 to the Shannon Paulk reward fund Friday.

Perette has ties to Alabama - her father lives on Lake Martin. The actress said she was inspired to make donation after watching an episode of "America's Most Wanted" feature the Paulk case.

The 11-year-old vanished in August 2001 from Candlestick Trailer Park in Prattville. Her body was found in October in rural Autauga County.

Perette will make the donation at Prattville City Hall.
