Thursday, the DeFuniak Springs Police assisted Daleville authorities with the arrest of a wanted fugitive.
29-year-old Burtrun Milline had warrants for child abuse and robbery from Dale County, as well as several felony warrants.
Milline had been using the alias Antonio Baker and had recently resisted Dale County lawmen, then escaped without arrest.
Authorities discovered that Milline had been staying at a motel in Defuniak Springs since Tuesday.
Milline tried to escape when he saw police, but was apprehended at the motel.
He was taken to the Walton County Department of Corrections in DeFuniak Springs.
Milline is expected to be extradited back to Dale County within the next few days.
