Troy Police Make Burglary Arrest

Troy Police have arrested a man they say is behind a recent burglary.

32-year-old Danny Wayne Devine of Troy was taken into custody in connection with a burglary that occurred on or between June 25 and July 4, 2007.

Devine is charged with 3rd degree burglary.

Police say he broke into a home at a mobile home park on Elba Highway and took two televisions, a kitchen table set, and other property.

He was also arrested for theft of gasoline from an area service station and possession of drug paraphernalia.

His bond is set at $2,500 dollars.

    i moved from michigan onr mounth ago. if this crime took place there this guy would have about 250,000 bond with 10% cash ashurity up to 10 years in prison for each count of burglary and 5 more for the gas run. i think the laws should be more aggresive in this state and maby people would think twice before thay brake the law.
