Firefighters Work to Contain House Fire in Geneva

Geneva Volunteer Firefighters worked to contain a house fire from spreading to nearby homes.

Around 11:30 Thursday morning, Diane King says one of her children saw smoke coming from the roof of their Smith Avenue home.

King, along with 6 others, was able to get out safely, but within a matter of minutes the three bedroom house was fully involved.

Firefighters battled the blaze for more than a half hour before getting it under control.

Investigators don't know how the fire started.
