Bush Protests

Shouting ‘Bush is a terrorist,’ hundreds of people protested outside President Bush's Portland, Oregon hotel on Thursday.

Riot police used pepper spray to push the crowd back.

Earlier, Bush had announced a new initiative to ease restrictions on timber companies, a move many environmentalists criticize.

One protester said it threatens all environmental laws.

Bush said it would help cut the risk of massive forest fires.

Other protesters said they don't want an attack on Iraq, chanting, "drop Bush, not bombs!"
