James Anderson Joins Alabama Attorney General Race

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Montgomery attorney James Anderson has
joined the Democratic race for state attorney general.

Anderson signed up Saturday at a meeting of the State Democratic Executive Committee in Montgomery.

Anderson is a former chairman of the State Ethics Commission and has been a lawyer for the state Democratic Party.

He joins Mobile attorney Michel Nicrosi and Birmingham attorney Giles Perkins in the Democratic primary in June.

Incumbent Troy King and Birmingham attorney Luther Strange are running on the Republican side.
