I know it has been 8 weeks and didnt even know Dr Sherrer died in a car wreck.I am in total shock over this one. I recieved a letter in the mail today informing me of this. This man was a kind and caring man from the only time I went to the Dothan office. I know that I had no insurance and he cut some of my cost during that visit. Now someone tell me how many doctors cut your cost? I am so sorry for the great loss the Sherrer family has been going through. May God bless you all and one day you all will have another great homecoming in Heaven.

Steve was such a wonderful man. I had the privilage of watching him care for my handicaped sister. He loved to work with the Specail Olympics and it was a joy to see him interact with them. I am so thankful that God blessed me with knowing him. Ray from Ashford- It is clear that you did not know Steve because had you perhaps you would be less judgemental seeing that Steve would have taught you about that. He was the least judgemental person that you would ever meet. So you too have suffered a great loss because you will never get the chance to be touched by the grateness of this man. I also want to encourage the patients and staff of Primecare. Steve chose you, each one of you to be part of his dream. Yes, there will never be another Steve, but respect that he trusted and believed in the other doctors and staff and believe in them too. We love you Steve!

Dr. Sherrer was an incredible person. Ray in Ashford needs to find something else to do than comment on his car.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the family of Steve Sherrer. He was our doctor for 13 years and we dearly loved him. He was a fine Christian, a wonderful family man and a talented physician. There is no other doctor in Dothan who is his equal. His life speaks volumes for the love he shared with all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace. God bless Steve Sherrer and those he left behind to carry on his work.

if dr.sherrer was out at midnight he has right enjoy himself as well as other, the bottom line he loved his patient and he took care of his patient , if you had met him you met a man of god. the different hats and shoes he worn , i don't think no doctor in dothan can , because all these doctor in doctors want is money.and trying rip the insurance off, not dr.sherrer , if he wasn't sure about something he will get second opinion.

If you ever met Dr. Sherrer, you had a new friend. You knew he was a Christian by his love and concern for you as friend and a person. He will be missed by all who knew of him. God is with his family, always.
