Police Seek Suspect in Early Morning Homicide

DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - Police in Dothan say a woman was shot to death in an early morning shooting outside a local eatery.

Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd said 25-year-old Shawntella Willis was slain in the parking lot behind a Cracker Barrel restaurant.\

Police, in a statement, said a lookout was issued for 22-year-old Monquaze Trawick, whom officers said was being sought for questioning in the case.

Officers found the victim lying in the parking lot at around 3 am.

No motive was given.

    my prayers go out to her family and her children im sorry this had to happen like this/we are praying i've known her since she stayed in johnson homes.

    managers for cracker barrel are required to do periodic checks on the entire site, inside and out. Why wasn't she found earlier. Also it is there policy to walk an employee out when leaving. something isn't right. cracker barrel employees are also supposed to park in a safe place, not out back.
