Fire Damages Key Piece of Ozark History

The Ozark Fire Department responded to a small fire in one of the city’s historic landmarks.

The Ozark train depot is a building that has been a part of the city for some time.

Monday night firemen responded to a report of a fire, upon arrival they extinguished a couple of chairs and some other furniture.

The fire department believes the fire may have been started intentionally.

There are plans to move the depot from its current location, to preserve it as a museum.
