RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Remnants of former Tropical Storm Barry will bring a few inches of much-needed rain to eastern and central North Carolina this weekend.
Rainfall began this afternoon and is expected to become moderate to heavy showers early tomorrow before tapering off to scattered showers in the afternoon.
Barry -- now a tropical depression -- has brought rain to much of Florida and Georgia.
