Two Fort Benning Soldiers Killed in Iraq

ATLANTA (AP) - Military officials say two Fort Benning, Georgia, soldiers are among the latest casualty figures reported from Iraq.

Officials say 22-year-old Corporal Victor H.Toledo Pulido of Hanford, California, and 21-year-old Corporal Jonathan D.Winterbottom of Falls Church, Virginia, died Wednesday in Nahrawan of wounds suffered when an explosive detonated near their vehicle.

Both were assigned to Third Squadron, First Cavalry Regiment, Third Brigade Combat Team, Third Infantry Division (Mechanized), at Fort Benning.

The sprawling military post is located near the Alabama line.
