There are reports of more investigations into the deaths of foreign prisoners in US custody.
An intelligence source says the number of prisoner deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan known to be blamed on Americans or under US investigation has gone up to 14.
There were earlier reports that ten prisoner deaths were being investigated, while two others have been ruled homicides.
Now, the source says the CIA has probes under way into two more deaths.
One took place at an Afghan prison near the Pakistan border in June 2003. The other occurred somewhere in Iraq. The source says the investigators are looking into agency interrogators in connection with the deaths.
