Dale Co. High Student Dies in Car Accident

A teenage driver killed in a head on collision Wednesday in Skipperville was a Dale County High student.

It happened about 2:30 Wednesday afternoon on County Road 33 between Skipperville and Blue Springs.

17-year-old Whitney Rachel Webb's Ford Explorer collided with an empty chicken truck belonging to Keystone Equity in Eufaula.

The driver of the semi, Tony Rumph, was taken to Dale Medical Center with injuries.

Webb died at the scene.

    Rachel was my niece. Even though I didn't get to see her very often, she was very special to me. She was bright, caring, and would have made a difference in this world. We will all miss her very much. Aunt Wanda
