Brewton Man Charged with Child Sex Abuse

BREWTON, Ala. (AP) - A 44-year-old Brewton man has been arrested
and charged with attempting to lure a child into his vehicle for sex.

Escambia County Sheriff Grover Smith said Kevin Lake, a truck driver, remains in the Escambia County Jail today in lieu of 400,000 dollars bail.

Lake is charged with sexual abuse, possession of child pornography and enticing a child.

Smith said officers found pornographic material in Lake's vehicle, including photographs of him engaged in sexual acts with a child.

He was arrested Friday.

Authorities said the child Lake is accused of approaching told adults about his encounter and they called the sheriff's office.

Investigators did not say whether they knew the child's identity or age.

    I think,pedafiles and rapeist where there is unquestionable evidence, as in this situation should have, no bond and a very speedy trial, after which they are sentenced to life with no possability of parole.
