Local agencies gathered at Dothan High School for the prom promise.

Fort Rucker flat iron responded to the scene of a fatal car accident at Dothan High School Tuesday morning.

It wasn't a real accident, but they pretended it was to get students to think about their prom promise, staying sober on prom night and not drinking and driving.

Four students were involved in the accident, one who was killed, two who were injured, and one who was hauled off to jail.

Houston Co. Coroner Robert Byrd said, “The physical trauma is really bad but having to tell the parents the momma and daddy that their child is dead it's the absolutely the worst.”

Dothan High's prom is Friday night.

I pray that all the students will keep that promise not to drink & drive. I also think that all the schools need to have this example shown to them so hopefully it will open the eyes to those who may get under the wheel of a car when drinking.
