The Enterprise tornado relief fund will be getting a sizable donation next week, thanks to Crimson Tide football fans.
A record 92,000 plus turned out for Saturday’s spring football game in Tuscaloosa and at least some of them opened their check-books.
The United Way of West Alabama was collecting money for tornado victims.
They collected more than $37,000.
Those funds will be presented to officials in enterprise next Wednesday.
The relief fund got another financial boost Monday when Mayor Kennth Boswell accepted a $25,000 donation from the Poarch Band of Creek Indians.
