Regular Gas Nears $2.77 a Gallon in Alabama

Gasoline prices continue their painful climb, adding more than 32 cents a gallon during the past month.

According to today's statewide survey from AAA Alabama, self-serve regular averages two-dollars 76 cents a gallon.

Mid-grade fuel costs two-95 and premium averages three-oh-four a gallon.

Nationally, regular now averages 2.85 a gallon.

    Gas prices are ridiculous right now. I am a student and i have a very hard time afording to put gas in my truck. I average out at about 50 bucks a week on gas...and thats normaly just to school and back. If prices keep going up....im gonna have to get a bike and ride it instead...its just plain unfair
