Faith based groups and organizations are continuing to play an important role in the recovery of Enterprise following the March 1st deadly tornado.
Florence Sconiers still find it hard to talk about the F-4 tornado that destroyed her family's business.
Sconers funeral home has been located in the baptist hill community for more than three generations.
This past weekend, she along with 18-other residents and businesses each received a 250-dollar check from the local jurisdiction of church of God in Christ.
"The churches, just people in general I couldn't believe all that came out to help us,” said Sconiers. “I'm grateful and I ask God to keep me strong so I can help someone."
Church congregations are also continuing to contribute to the needs of those who lost their homes on that tragic day.
