State troopers say at least six people were killed in traffic accidents over the weekend on rural Alabama roadways.
That included a single vehicle wreck that happened in Talladega County Sunday.
Troopers says 34-year-old Thomas Patrick Adams of Sylacauga died
in the crash when his vehicle ran off Odeana Road and struck a telephone pole. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
The crash occurred around 3:15 am about a half mile north of Sylacauga.
Another fatality was reported in Shelby County along with two each in Marshall and Cullman counties.
