The Southern Alabama Regional Council on Aging, SARCOA, is sharing the Christmas spirit with nearly 500 seniors.
"Santa for Seniors" is a community service project to help those in need of basic necessities and repairs for Christmas.
SARCOA has a list of qualifying seniors and their very humble "Christmas Wish Lists" on their website.
The items will be collected the week of December 7th and then distributed.
Most of these requests are for simple things like bedroom slippers or a space heater.
The website is www.sarcoa.org
