ENTERPRISE, Ala. (AP) - Enterprise officials estimate it may cost $1 million to demolish the tornado-wrecked Enterprise High School and nearby buildings.

The school system is advertising for a contractor to remove the wreckage of Enterprise High and Hillcrest Elementary School buildings.

The two school buildings were demolished in a March 1 tornado, which killed eight Enterprise High students.

School system spokesman Bob Tomberlin says demolition of the high school also will include the city school system's central office. The office is connected to the high school.

Tomberlin expects the work will begin next month.
