Search Warrant Information
Today, we wanted to look into the search warrant process.

A week ago today, Washington County deputies found missing 7 month old Shannon Dedrick in a cedar box inside her babysitters home.
All that came after the a day long process to obtain a search warrant.
Today, News 4 looked into that process to see how long it takes in other situations. Dothan police say a search warrant can be obtained over the phone by talking to a judge, but the paperwork must be done later.
In many instances a warrant can be delivered just as fast as an officer can type up an affidavit.
