Coffee County Woman Charged With Child Endangerment

A new mother is arrested in Coffee County on a chemical child endangerment charge.

Authorities say Stacey Wise exposed the month-old infant to crystal-meth.

Wise was taken into custody by the Coffee County Sheriff's department after the 5-pound, 10-ounce baby girl tested positive for meth at the hospital.

Wise also reportedly tested positive for the drug.

The baby is reportedly in good health, and placed with a family member.

Wise has been released from jail on a property bond.
