Helping Enterprise Students Cope

The Enterprise city school district is offering to help parents who's children may be experiencing post-traumatic symptoms from last month's deadly tornado.

School counselors say they've received reports of children not sleeping and not eating regularly, two possible signs of psychological trauma stemming from the March 1st storm.

Some counselors say several students have indications of "survival guilt" because they feel guilty for surviving while eight classmates died.

Any parent concerned about their child's behavior should contact a school counselor for further assistance.
