Officials with the veterans healthcare administration say the VA Clinic in Dothan will be moving in the near future, they're just not sure where.
Earlier Friday a public forum was held at the Dothan Opera House to discuss the matter with local vets.
Officials say the clinic is not big enough to serve the number of vets it is currently serving.
One possible location to move the clinic to is Fort Eucker, where officials say there is enough space and adequate equipment to treat more wiregrass vets.
CAVHS Director Dr. Robert Ratliff said, "It's a very good location that would allow us to get into it very quickly. That's one of the advantages of Fort Rucker over a facility that we find in the community and have to construct."
VA officials say it would take between two and three years to build a brand new clinic.
