The Easter weekend marks the un-official end of the spring break season along Florida’s Gulf Coast and one small Wiregrass town along the state line has cashed in on the traffic flow.
Cathy Culpepper plans to re-open her coffee shop and restaurant in downtown Florala. The business has been closed for nearly two years following heavy damage from Hurricane Ivan.
Miss. Culpepper still hopes to benefit from the large droves of spring breakers who drive through Florala on their way to Florida beaches.
