Goshen Centennial Celebration

A local Pike County town is turning a century old and they are celebrating in the "old-fashioned" way.

In downtown Goshen this weekend city leaders, businesses and residents will be holding their first, and only centennial celebration.

The two-day festivities will include games, parades, vendors, food and entertainment.

Town leaders have the activities centered around a theme of anything antique.

Including an old-time revival and a family-style picnic and antique car show.

Goshen Town Clerk Traci Shaver said, “We've had festivals for many years, but this year we'll have more and it will be nothing like this one is going to be.”

The centennial celebration will kick off this Saturday at 8 am.
