The woman who stole more than $40,000 from a Dothan clinic was denied probation.
Twenty-seven-year-old Stacey Lea Jones pled guilty in December to stealing close to $43,000 while working at the First Med in Dothan.
Judge Lawson Little sentenced her to five years behind bars with a probation hearing Tuesday.
The judge said if she repaid some of the money he would consider letting her out of jail, but he denied probation.
Jones has no prior offenses on her record.
