After 25-years of business in Dothan, Captain D's is redesigning its image.
A brand new restaurant is open on Ross Clark Circle, replacing its current building at the 231 North Intersection.
Of the company's 600 restaurants in the country, this is only their second to be rebuilt.
They’re also adding grilled items, pasta and fresh sides to their menu, while still trying to maintain a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
President and COO David Head said, "It presented an opportunity to be able to get this piece of ground ourselves and to control our real estate and you can only do so much on a remodel and we felt that this was a great market--it's been very good to us and we wanted to invest back into that market."
The restaurant will officially open to the public Tuesday.
