SELMA, Ala. (AP) - The city of Selma is losing 120 jobs. Louisiana-Pacific announced Tuesday it will close its plant in April. The company manufactures boards used for decks.

Company executives blamed the shutdown on a slowdown in the U-S
building industry and said if sales improve, the Selma facility could be reopened.

Nine workers will be kept on the payroll until the end of 2007 to ship out remaining inventory.
