Monday night at six, we had an update about Enterprise High School teacher Shannon Bridges.
During the tornado, bridges, who are 5-months pregnant, threw herself over two students to protect them.
A friend of the family told us she had fallen and been taken to a hospital in Birmingham.
We learned Tuesday that's not true.
Shannon Bridges is still in Flowers Hospital in Dothan and is expected to be released in about 2-weeks.
Tuesday at a meeting of staff and teachers in Enterprise, the assistant superintendent talked about her heroism.
Her family says she's doing fine and appreciates the calls but doesn't want anyone to be alarmed.
They would also like to thank Flowers Hospital employees for the care they've provided during this time.
