A Dothan man has been arrested for allegedly writing bad checks over and over again.
Thirty-four-year-old Charles Jerome Cochran is charged with two counts of theft of property. He’s free on a $21,000 bond.
Investigators spent much of the day sorting through truckloads of merchandise that Cochran allegedly bought with bad checks during a three week spending spree.
So far, they've recovered three big screen TV, a generator, handguns and sporting goods equipment, the haul totals about $20,000.
Police say much of the stuff was still in the original cartons and has been returned to the stores where it was originally purchased.
